Lots of activity on the air today. Just now heard @unit_399 having a qso with California on 27.360lsb. I waited until they finished to try to make contact, but conditions wasn't favorable to Columbia for me. Maybe catch you next time.
This will serve as a first hand account of the cycle conditions from one cycle to the next for posterity's sake....Gentlemen, we're just a little ways away from a 700 page thread with 10,472 posts with this one.
I hate to be the guy who comes to search this thread in another decade. They'll be reading for a while.

Yes, there were many F-bombs being dropped. Most of today was constantly shifting signals. California to New Hampshire and everywhere in between, but never lasted long. The only US signals that lasted was either arrogant operators telling everyone else how they should run their shack, or the folks that can't complete a sentence without dropping F bombs. On the plus side I had a ton from across the pond. England and France were the big hitters for a bit. But the winners of the day was Scotland and Ireland. I listened and talked with both for over an hour before noon. Can't remember who was from where, but Charlie, Shawn, and Ian.
I can receive and transmit (skip-talk) almost daily but some guys have their echo and modulation cranked-up so much that it is difficult to understand what they are saying when they call for me. I do my best to be polite and answer their call but it is a challenge. Most of today was constantly shifting signals. California to New Hampshire and everywhere in between, but never lasted long.
