11 meter is very quiet?

Tonight has turned out to be interesting. Working in the garage this evening with the 2950dx6 running in the background and dx still coming in as I'm getting ready to wrap up. As I'm shutting things down there are some Las Vegas and Phoenix stations chatting back and forth so I call out for both of them and join the 3 way contact. It's 10 pm cst and from my end it's only us 3 on the air talking like locals. Pretty cool stuff right there! That's the first time I've talked to either of those locations and might be the only time I get that kind of short skip to there.

I turned the radio on this morning because the solar site said fair for today and there wasn't much going on but I left it run while I was working on my good warm weather to do list. Late morning and around noon the radio really got rocking but I couldn't stop because of our 2 day warm up & my neighbor was home today anyway. But believe me it was tempting to say the least. And tomorrow is SUV Mechanic Day. Hope you all got some action today !

Conditions have been good but not great out here on the west coast of Canada. Didn't get a lot of radio time in this week.....hope to get on a bit more this weekend if I can squeeze it in.

Good Morning all, going to try to be on the air around 2pm hopefully on 37 LSB,if any WWDX members out there are on the air today, feel free to give me a shout-out, been a Crazy weekend at work ( Five Guys) as this weekend is State Patty's Day in State College, basically it's a drinking weekend free for all for Penn State University students,we were so busy yesterday and I'm so glad to be off today to relax,etc....hope everyone is doing well out there in DX Land!!!!

Yep, I flipped on the station and worked DX from east to west and everywhere in between. Conditions were mediocre but with a little "POWA" many contacts were made!

It probably didn't help that conditions weren't that great either. It would be silent intermittently a train wreck.

I was able to get home with enough time to catch the band alive and well this afternoon. Worked many stations mainly on the east coast and Canada before calling it a day.

Hopefully the weekend will play well for us.

Skip is up and down right now. But just made contact with 004 Moe, 80 miles north of Anchorage Alaska on 27.535 lsb. Long damned way to my antenna. And only the second time ever that I've talked to someone in Alaska.

Conditions are mediocre this morning but managed to have a qso with #1 equalizer on the island of Trinidad. We'll see what the day brings forth.

Wish I could play today but it's alternator, belt ,and tension er change day today so a whole lot of cussing going on in PA today ! Enjoy !
