11 meter is very quiet?

Well at least I know isn't just me. I haven't heard a sole in quite some time now on both the Base station or the Mobile. Just like the bottom just dropped out and nothing left. I hope the fall action gets started soon !

Just gave a shout out on 37 and 38 LSB, absolutely quiet and my receive signal is only coming in between 1-2 up here in Central PA this afternoon, last time I was on the Air was late July due to the fact that conditions haven't been very good, really looking forward to the Fall and Winter time so the DX can start firing up again like it did last year!!!!!!

It seems like conditions have been really bad for the last month or so on 11 meters. I like 10 meters. I always listen to 38 lsb first when ever i turn on the radio, to see if its worth calling cq on 10 meters. It seems like even 20meters has been bad also.

I have been learning cw for the last six months, So i like calling cq on 10 meter cw, and then looking on the reverse beacon network and seeing where my signal is getting picked up. It really gives you a good idea how 10/11/12 and even 15 meter propagation works. I will have a direct pipeline sometimes to Arizona, or South America, even when the band is seemingly dead. Its just that there is no one there listening. The "spotlight" dx is very real lol.
