216MHz receiver?

I am looking for a HT that has the best sensitivity that I can get between 216-220MHz, any suggestions? I know most radios have wide RX coverage and that any triband radio would probably suffice, but for my task, I want the RX tune to be the best it can be at 216-220. Edit: Another issue is that it cannot be FM only, it needs to have SSB or CW reception as the signal I am receiving is very low duty cycle OOK.

I currently use a Field Marshall FM4000 receiver for tracking down my cat, but I would like a backup receiver of comparable quality that doesn't cost so much. If he would stay within a half mile or so, a junk radio would work fine, but he likes to wander so I need a receiver that will work well without needing a 10 element beam attached.

Might look for an OAR handheld receiver. Newer ones are big $ but older used ones can be found at more reasonable prices. Some models do receive all mode.

AOR, Icom IC-Rx, some scanners work at that range that are pretty good.

I use a Kenwood TH-F6A for an application like that, which requires SSB demod at 220 MHz.

If you want to try cheap, the Quansheng K5's and K6's, will do this with a custom firmware.

The KD8CTC FW, can actually TX on SSB. My K5(8), does have 200mW out on 220. Will demod SSB. I am using the Egzumer FW.
