wtf?there wasnt even a mic plugged into that radio .how was he transmitting on it?
it would appear he was transmitting from that radio but there was no mic plugged in .
he unplugged what looked like a home made jumper going into a frs radio ,at that point there was no mic left plugged in .

whats going on?

Digital recorder inside the radio maybe, from the looks of the knobs/switches/buttons all over the radio he mounted the guts of 3 or 4 mics/boards/noisetoys inside.

This is what happens when demented people play with powerful toys.

You know, we used to have some fun here on Sat night at times, there was a little radio club, The Central valley CBer`s, had roll call, breaks, club breakfast, stuff like that.
We would do roll, then some of us guys would stay up late and play on the radio...goof off, noise toys...blah blah woof woof.
But I never seen anyone of them hack up a radio like that....A d104 maybe or a Echo-max mic...but not the whole radio.
Not a 2950...
God forbid if he ever got a hold of a great radio like a 2510 or something.....
