I was especially impressed with the conversion of the detector from FM to AM. Simply throw the quadrature coil out of alignment and call it a day. As if that addresses the limiter in front of the detector that removes AM content. While it could work the sound and sensitivity would be lacking. Notice he has real good line of site to that control tower.

I have a Grundig S750 with airband and a Grecom PSR-300 scanner that does all the A/C band and I hear everything.
Like someone else said any scanner will scan the A/C bands...

One such modification involves a CB to VHF using a crystal from a toaster. No such component in a toaster and VHF is FM mode not AM (except for aeronautical).

I found the C90 Capacitor, but I can not for the life of me find the C89 capacitor. Can or does anyone have a picture of the exact location of C89 ? Thank you in advance, Wes
