I noticed HRO is also selling it. Hopefully, we'll start to see similar offerings from other makers.
I was wondering that as well. Not sure if these retailers are wanting to play that game. I guess we'll know soon enough.

I talked to Universal Radio. They are excited about this offering and expect the first shipment within 2-3 weeks. They said they have had strong interest from the CW community in recent inquiries. I always felt that the amateur community would be quick to embrace a decent 10 meter offering, but the factories can't let go of the BEEP BEEP BEEP and echo.
I mentioned the CW sidetone buffering issue on the other variants of this rig. They are going to test that as well and will report their findings on their website.

Maybe...maybe not. It might have a bit of goodness in it.
I just talked to my Alinco source, He has new units in stock, but is waiting on the demo version to come back from Huntsville. Once it's back he's gonna pound some brass to confirm CW functionality. He also claims that a "keypad mumbo jumbo" entry will open goodness.
I have a gut feeling that CW will not be an issue. If so, Alinco might enjoy the sales on these units. Who knows what variations will come out of this. Technician class ops will likely be excited.
