For those who read Amateur Radio Daily, you’ll now see an improved version of the solar conditions in the site header — plus a new sidebar section showing current HF band conditions in real time.

This update comes from a collaboration between Cale Mooth (K4HCK), who runs Amateur Radio Daily, and Rodrigo Vazquez (AK6FP), creator of DXLook.

The new data feed updates continuously with:
  • Solar Flux Index (SFI)
  • Sunspot Number (SN)
  • A- and K-indices
  • Band-by-band propagation assessments
Together, these give operators a quick snapshot of today’s radio conditions before getting on the air.

It’s a great example of the collaborative spirit of amateur radio, where independent efforts work together to make propagation and space-weather insights more accessible for everyone in the hobby.

Hello gentlemen and Ladies. I have the dreaded RCI-2990 receive issue where my radio gets distorted when people get close to my location. I found the C90 Capacitor, but I can not for the life of me find the C89 capacitor. Can or does anyone have a picture of the exact location of C89 ? Thank you in advance, Wes

Wes, it's better if you start a thread on the main forum, more people are going to see your question.
