Anytone AT 5000

Got mine today, neat little radio. It has great audio with 3k/4k selectable transmit and of course the noise reduction works great too. Out of the box, it is a CB and does about 18 watts on SSB, perfect for a KL203. I moved the jumper inside and lost WX, and the display changed from US to UK? (I forget now.) But did not give any extra bands or channels. I tried holding ptt and some buttons while powering up, but did not find the right combination, and there is no white wire to cut.

I plan on replacing the Anytone Smart with this in my wife's explorer, we will see...

Running it through it's paces with a kl 203, getting great reports. I didn't realize just how small it is, makes the 203 look big by comparison. This one is the CB version, but the one on the Anytone website is 10 meter, darn. The VFO mode for the function key on the mic doesn't work, and the clarifier in the menu can only be selected for RX. I have to email the seller and they will email the manual. I asked them if they have the programming software, there is nothing on the Anytone website. Maybe something can be changed in the software to enable the VFO and upper channels?

Does anyone know if you can replace the 2290 in a galaxy dx 93t twin turbine with a 2sc2879 red dot? If so, what would have to be tuned?
