Anytone AT 6666 150 watts?

Just got finished watching one of Less Comms videos. How in the world does he get 150 PEP out of that radio?

I have one and do not know how he could get that much out of it stock. more power to him if he found a way to do it stock.

He doesn't ...... his output readings are not accurate at all.....
I have talked to him about that several times.
I have also "tested" a couple of radios by LesComm. I used new Bird meters with new Bird elements, and also used my Array Solutions meters (digital mil spec meters) and I never see the numbers that is shown on his videos.
It is not possible to get 150 watt output with 1 driving 1 driving 2 MOSFET's, whether it be the FQP13N10, IRF520, or the ERF2030+ .....
The most I have ever "tuned" a radio with this setup is right at 95 watts or so output. And the radio is starting to get a little "dirty" at that output.
I have indicated to him several times that there must be an issue with his setup or his meters to show those kind of numbers .....

Yes, they do .......
I am not knocking LesComm or his work ......
But his videos showing the high power output on his radios are just wrong ......
I have proved that to myself using his radios and my equipment ......
Just not possible ......

I was only doing 12w pep. But then I spread the coils......

His meter says peak power so I assume its reading peak instantaneous power not PEP.

I still have alot to learn but these numbers don't work if the peak meter is reading PEP. I would imagine the average would be a great deal higher if that was the case.

Running the numbers using 150 watts peak makes his avg meter totally correct (okay give or a take a few watts).

Any corrections would be duly appreciated.
