Another new rig entry but not much for details and no pics as of yet.... the Anytone AT-6666. Here are some tantalizing details as posted on the Anytone group .... :w00t:

"Ok fresh info direct from the manufacturer. Listed in there latest catalog.
The AT6666 no pic but it lists specs here are the new things

60w am/ssb
50w fm
VFO Channel
CTCSS/DCS option
Hi/Med/low power

Lets hope its as good as the 5555"

I just received this from my local AnyTone dealer. He claims that it will arrive in 3 weeks and he has 100 on order.

My only beef is that it doesn't go down to 24.000 MHz.

It does not go to 12 meters because radio amateurs are not it's intended target.

You can pretty much say that about any transceiver that comes with echo and a roger beep built in. Still, it looks pretty cool and the VFO feature is nice.
