Aquario RP70 “Mini” AM/FM/SSB Radio With NRC

After looking ar what pictures I could find of the RP70 circut board and microphone I wonder if this is manufactured by Quanzhou Chierda Electronic Telecom Co., Ltd? I see some similarites to the Aquario/Chiedra S890 but its very hard to judge by pictures on the internet.

IF it's Chierda, I hope the noise reduction works. When I got my S890, it was a listed feature, but not in the menu. I asked the guy and he said it was for future...

Same here, they offered me a "sample" for $100 but said that the NRC was still not functioning.
Did they ever get back to you on the AM issue?

Is that in the same city as Qixiang (maker of Anytone radios)? I have heard Aquario radios are produced in the same city but at a different electronics factory.

I believe Quanzhou Chierda Electronic Telecom Co. Is who was behind the Maxlog and Magnum 1 line of radios back a few years. I believe it was Erik Rutledge at then Rf limited who told me that.

After the Magnum 1 the company above had supposedly shipped a prototype radio to rf limited which was supposed to be the Magnum 2 but it never came to fruition.

I wonder if some of these radios were what was supposed to succeed the Magnum 1.

According to Simon the Magnum1 has a Maxlog 8800 board made by Xiamen-Maxlog with changes requested by Magnum. I could not find a connection between Xiamen-maxlog and Quanzhou Chierda Electronic Telecom Co, other than Xiamen-maxlog has a R&D facility in Quanzhou China where Quanzhou Chierda Electronic Telecom Co is located.
