It's a good thing that they never made that.. I can only imagine what a wreck involving one of those would be like given atomic technology in those days.

the device would not detonate like a atomic bomb if it were in a wreck....
at worst case the machine would not be repairable, depending on variables.

Exploding wasn't even on my radar actually.. I was thinking more along the lines of radiation leakage. I doubt that a tiny reactor built with '60s-70s technology (or even today's for that matter) could be 100% guaranteed to withstand a severe accident capable of tearing the rest of the car apart.

ala , dirty bomb , but without the explosion .

Yup they'll never be safe enough with current designs. anyway I doubt an atomic car would be of interest to anyone on this forum as the radioactive isotope would wash out the cobra29 or whathave you with static.

Hello gentlemen and Ladies. I have the dreaded RCI-2990 receive issue where my radio gets distorted when people get close to my location. I found the C90 Capacitor, but I can not for the life of me find the C89 capacitor. Can or does anyone have a picture of the exact location of C89 ? Thank you in advance, Wes
