I hope all are well. I joined a couple of years ago in search of help with a Tram radio. Always had fun with the CB stuff just life got in the way. I started unboxing some stuff and here is a pic of something I got on a package deal. Help me with the knob on the side. Have not even plugged it in but thought I would start here.

No way to know by the photo, other than it is someone's modification. If you take a photo of inside, that may shed some light on what it is doing.
It's a frequency expansion. The switch selects bands above and/or below the legal 40 channels. I'm not familiar with that exact one, but I'm pretty sure that's what it is.

Thats what I was thinking. Like I said had it in a box and never powered it up. Assuming to works correctly what would I expect to hear from that.
