Big switching power supplies - what's the forum favorite?

My friends & I found that those & the Tripp Lite power supplies made great dumpster materials. Tripp Lite could not even provide a schematic that included the parts because they told me they were built in Mexico & they were not sure what parts they had in them.

My Tripp-Lite PR40a has treated me quite well for the last 30+ years. I blew the regulator chip once which was my own error when my test proble slipped and shorted it out. I was setting the output voltage at the time. A quick replacement and it has been performing great ever since. Tripp-Lite published the schematics for all their power supplies which are basically all the same with different transformers and pass transistors for the different amperages available.

I just got a NOS Artesyn LCM600Q, 24-28v, 27 Amps. 100-240v Input Auto Switching. Eventually want another to connect in P. Small size is nearly stunning.

Has anyone incorporated an AMP and Voltage meter with one of the previously mentioned supplies?
Just curious.
yessir, mechanical panel meters. I'd be concerned to pull over 15a without seeing exactly what is going on. some folks like the computer power monitor devices more than mechanical meters.
