I've never seen this brand or heard of it. I'm guessing its one of those little niche brands that popped up to take advantage of the huge CB craze of the 1970's. The maker is Asahi Denki Co, LTD out of Japan. The radio works well, and was even made with a standard 3-pin power connector like a Cobra 29/25 radio. It is a basic 2-knob affair (plus channel selector) with no switches at all, so its a bit of a surprise they went to the expense of the 3-pin connector. Not sure what I'm going to do with it yet. It was part of a large collection of vintage gear we took in last week that included a Uniden Washington and an old-school Cobra 148.
