I have a gray 300 plastic switches when I key my cobra it clicks really fast. If I turn down my power Mike to 0 it stops but none can hear my transmission. Any advise?
What kind of power supply are you using? Sounds like either the power supply is too small, or the amplifier has a fault that overloads the power supply.
Of course, if the input and output connections on the back of the amplifier are reversed, with the radio cable on the antenna socket and the antenna on the radio socket, you'll see just this symptom.
More than one way to make it act like this. More than 3, really.
I checked the amplifier power supply connection. Turns out it were and issue near the hot wire connection to.the battery terminal. The post were slightly lose. I tightening it. Now it when I key the mic the amp no longer makes the clicking or shuddering noise. Thanks for your help sir.
