Does anyone know where you can find a replacement frequency counter board for a Cobra 2000 ?
Thanks
Thanks
I've seen a few "junk radios" here and there. But can you guess what always seems to be missing from them when I do find them ? You guessed it, their frequency counter boards ... lol.Another Cobra 2000. Some time ago I considered what it would take to develop a drop-in replacement and just walked away. Might be easier if you didn't also want the clock. Maybe "less hard" would be more descriptive then "easier".
Junk radios are few and far between.

Thank you tramd. I saw it last night, and I was planning on buying it. But then today I decided to try my own frequency counter board one more time , and believe it or not I fixed it. My Cobra 2000 is back to working now. There is one on eBay for sale. I just saw it a few minutes ago.
I'm not tramdr, I'm tramd. I've used that "handle" for almost 30 years out here on the internet. tramdr came along much later. He used to be the Undertaker, not to be confused with the Undertaker here on this site. People always think I'm him, or he is me. I actually don't live far from you. tramdr is from Detriot.Thank you tramd. I saw it last night, and I was planning on buying it. Thank you very much for helping out. Also thank for your great videos too. I've been subscribed for years and love to watch your videos.
Any chance someone clipped R228? This makes an average wattmeter happy, but makes the modulation "tight" sounding.
