A true wiring diagram used to be a part of every decent service manual.
Used to be.
Products that remain in production for decades will undergo minor changes along the way. The color of wires in the harness is one example. A radio like a "Cobra 29LTD" may have come from any one of almost a dozen different factories since 1980 or so.
Haven't seen a proper "wiring diagram" for that radio that I ever remember. Interpreting the schematic and 'following' wires from one end to its other end is the only workaround I know of. And if you have a bunch of wires someone took loose, this method for finding out where they go is more tedious that it would be if you had a true (and accurate) wiring diagram.
I know but that's the only thing I've ever been able to find for the 29LTD. It's usable, it just takes about 20 minutes longer per circuit to locate (for me)....a real headache.
