North side of $200 cdn. About 160ish usd.
Not falling into my pack anytime soon.
This is somewhat similar to the antenna I have. I like the one I have. It's easy and quick to deploy, except mine doesn't collapse. Thought about strapping PVC pipe on my luggage rack and stuff it in.

No, the Bandspanner actually had a tunable coil...You lengthen or shorten it to tune for each band...over 10 ft long-on 75m w/whip...Basically, a Non-Motorized screwdriver...desent mobile antenna for its day.
That Comet is made by OPEK rebranded or cloned...a mobile antenna made for temporary base/portable operation
