Hello. It worked. I did as you suggested. took them out. Now I have 11 meters. WOW. My A99 antenna is dialed in. I needed 100 watts to drive my amp in 11 meters. As soon as I change to 220 ac, I will need your knowledge again. Thanks again.If you'll have a look at the solder side of the front corner of the main pc board, under the channel selector, you should see a handful of one-eighth Watt resistors, usually 100 ohm. They will be stretched across the solder side of the board near the board's outer edge. Simply removing them usually does the job. No need for a soldering iron. Diagonal cutters with small-enough jaws will work.
