DAK Radio

HI..

Hold on to your hat.. The local radio shop around here had a new DAK X for (If i remember correctly) $600.

I didnt get one for 10 years.. then I had it for 10 years before I sold it.

I loved the look of that radio and the IX.

I think I may still have my Mobile Mark VI (Mobile version of the X..without the big case and tubes).

HI,

Honestly, I think it's in a box... somewhere in the basement.

I have had that for at least 12yrs.. I used to use it daily in the mobile.

It developed a problem with the PCboard..that was how I got it in the first place

it came frome someone's Junk Box.. and I spent a week fixing cracked traces and

retuning it. My Dad had a DAK mark III for a couple of years and it got stolen.

When a friend showed me the broken IV I bought it right away..

I am not sure what the condition is right now, the last time I used it was in

1997..

I will have to look for it.

Roger
