Are you supposed to hit a 1x4 with a radio with that large a heatsink on it ??? Wouldn't a 2 > 4 watt deadkey radio be more appropriate?

I don't see Fine-Tune doing any tube gear.. (what's referenced in the original post..)
Anyway, to get this thread on track..
What about a "worn-out" or "failing" tube can make you sound like Donald the Duck?
Sorry, it just pre-dates my era. If the tube tests good, and has not gone "microphonic"; is it reduced gain that causes issues, some how distortion increases I'm thinking, but unsure about the technology.
