I was just going to post this, so if yall dont know, this is a AWESOME meter. The one i have is tighter than my Damn ol bird meter and yall know how tight that is! Sometimes you will get one that is tighter than the other, but is your looking for a meter that is great, i suggest you try to find one and get it! But they dont make them anymore, so you are going to have to do some research, but in the end, it is worth it!! <img src=http://www.ezboard.com/intl/aenglish/images/emoticons/smile.gif ALT=":)">

I agree the W-4 is exceptionally tight on the 200 watt scale, but try switching scales with a small amplifier from the 200 to the 2000. It is looser on the 2000 scale. A typical 2-transistor amp doing 150 watts PEP will whistle DOWN to about 35 watts on the 200 scale. The same whistle on the 2000 will probably just reach the 100 mark. If anybody out there knows a good way to TIGHTEN the 2000 scale on the W-4 to match the 200 scale, I'd sure like to hear about it. That project never really got ONTO the drawing board here.
