When I saw the title, I thought you had a new joke but I guess not. Well maybe down the road it might be.
How dare they invade a sovereign nation without first forming an international coalition, giving peace keepers 23 years to try and sort it out, and getting approval from the U.N. Security Counsel, CNN, ABC, CBS, NBC, MSNBC and The New York Times. This is obviously a war for diamonds.

This very true. You just never heard about any of it as it usually did not involve Islamic hardliners or Al Queada. Overseas shortwave news broadcasts would often make mention of something going on it Mali, or Senegal, or some other former French colony but since it served no purpose to the USA it never made your news. I used to listen to the African service of several European SW broadcasters as well as some of the domestic services of some African English language broadcasts and remember several mentions.
