I could not find and navigate a method to edit this post. I am reducing the price down to $375.00 + Shipping. I can answer your questions and concerns if you send me a message via PM. I can forward photos to your cell phone. I recently purchased a new 30" snowblower and I'm trying to recuperate some of the $1800.00. The radio is packed in the OEM box plus a second box. Total weight is seventeen pounds. The 2547 will be perfect for the station in my garage. Instead of having a radio and amp and power supply spread out on the bench, this will be a nice compact unit. This gives me a chance to do some much needed organizing and rearranging on the bench too.

I have plans to reorganize my two-car garage when springtime arrives. I am considering setting-up a radio in the garage also, but I would need another base antenna to ensure I don't do something stupid.

Got the radio, excellent packaging, fast shipping. Checking it out in the shack, trying all my different microphones on it. Where did all the skip go? Talking to some locals, gets great reports with the Aries power mic on 2 and the mic level on the radio set to about 9:00. I was going to use this in the garage, but now I am thinking I will keep it in the shack, we will see.
