What's the new TX range after this mod? Can it go down to 136? Seems a lot of Yaesu's won't get below 137

Just did it, and it worked. That resistor is tiny. Used a magnifying glass and the tip of my pocket knife. A light push in each side of the resistor, the tweezers to pull it out.

137.000 is the lowest it goes.

Just removed R1848 and it opens up the US version. Works fine.

Its a different board layout to the US version.

Did this MOD on my USA model. Works fine to open up frequency.
Even though I backed up my memories to SD card, I had to UPDATE my RT SYSTEMS programming software, the re-write the memories to the SD card...
Then plug in the SD card and backed up radio from SD card and all memories and APRS settings are there...
