Hello everyone, new to the forum and new to radio...only in it about 6 months.
Does anyone know anything about the 800 or where I can find information/manual on it?
Thanks

Not sure on the 800 . Is that a Hybred like the 500 ? Transistors & Tubes ? If so from what a read really touchy on the loading & DON'T like to be over driven . 73 & God Bless Leo Btw Welcome to the forum !

Thanks for the information 357 and BJ...this one has 30KD6 driving (4) 31JS6C tubes. I think I'm going to pass on it being touchy on the loading and driving. I dont know enough yet to be working on it myself if something messes up. Again thanks.

The part number printed on the relay is your only hope of getting a drop-in replacement. Relays that size don't always have the same pin assignment. The specs for the original part will define what can drop in and replace it.

Just need that number to find the specs.

And if you just don't need a preamp, a wire jumper can fix problems caused by the preamp relay. I'll see if I can dig up a picture we have for the relays with the clear cover that pops off easily.

Found the pic. If your preamp relay looks like this one, you can totally avoid removing the printed circuit board from the amplifier this way. Won't have a preamp any more, but the flaky preamp-relay problem will be a thing of the past. The wires are fairly thin. Removing a strand from a thin stranded wire should get you what's needed.

Good day, I have an Icom IC910H radio. I want to program a memory with split frequency tone on TX only and NO tone on RX,. Is this possible to do from the face of the radio? I don't have the interface to connect to a computer.

@Deon very unlikely to get a response here. You are better off starting a thread on the topic.
