Is this one of the cans that also has a capacitor inside? Just curious.doesn’t have any capacitor inside
A shame for us users. John and Cathey (sp)(I think) were great at customer service. They will be missed.I can confirm that.
Now the phone goes unanswered and there's no longer a way to leave a message.

I rarely pass on a beater radio, if it can be had cheap. Cosmetics be darned. I will sacrifice 1 working beater to repair 10 nicer radios any day. Like getting a motor from the junkyard, I will take the greasiest, dirtiest engine I can find to rebuild. They seem to be better under all the filth than an engine that was cleaned much too often and I get it cheaper.Won't be long before junkyard parts are your only choice. That part isn't being used in any radios currently produced. It will slowly dry up, starting with the legit suppliers like Barkett.
