Let me amend that statement. My Anytone quad 6 was in the box but I believe it was "Pre-Tested" but works as new!

I bought a SS158EDX (don't ask me why) from Clays, no issues. But I didn't have it SuperWhackSmackJackPacked or anything.
I’ve been using Clays since 1997. Have spent thousands there. I’d say reliability is the tuning hallmark: nothing fancy, just keeps on performing.
Where I’ve bought several Galaxy radios (and spent mainly on pro big truck installs).
Our Texas Coast friend (U-512?) got a Ranger from him last year or so.

I heard a guy locally talking on a big Connex. He said he got it from Clays Radio Shop and it sounded clear and unhacked. We were pretty close also.
I called gi Joe's several years back when looking for a Texas Star 350 and the fella that answered seemed like one heck of a good dude. I think we talked history of outcom and texas star amps for half an hour before somebody told him he was needed and to get off the phone haha. Didn't buy anything but they seem to be a people kind of business. Sometimes, even an enjoyable conversation alone shows what a businesses is about.
