What high voltage should I see running an SB-201 on 120VAC, I’m seeing 2100VDC on the SB-201 meter and 2300VDC on a bench meter.
I know the bench meter is correct at 2300VDC.

The original 572 had a maximum plate voltage of 2500V. Since the clone Chinese tubes are at least thought to be not as good as their American predecessors it would be unwise to try and push them or “hotrod” the amplifier. My SB-200 runs at about 2200-2300V unloaded and drops to somewhere around 2100V loaded.

dropping resistors in metering circuit out of tolerance thus the lower voltage readings on the 201 vs bench volt meter

Hello gentlemen and Ladies. I have the dreaded RCI-2990 receive issue where my radio gets distorted when people get close to my location. I found the C90 Capacitor, but I can not for the life of me find the C89 capacitor. Can or does anyone have a picture of the exact location of C89 ? Thank you in advance, Wes
