Henry 2k and 2kd 2k4 3-400z

Seem to remember reading somewhere that one of these two amplifiers that used the 3-400 that you could not slap a 3-500 in. It was something about the chimney height and the height to the top of the case or something. You couldn't put the taller tube in. Does anybody remember exactly the case with this?

The one's I ran across where you had to drop the damn sockets...were the ones that seem to have the "Tear Drop" meters on them with the console/PS case...2K? Sorry
