It's hot here back east. I have 100.9 right now. We are supposed to have 2 more days like this

My grass is brown and to hot to walk on bare foot lol.

My son talked to an excavator today that said they had dug down 13 ft and still could not pack dirt it is so dry.

mid 80s here and extremely humid YUCK!!!

Yesterday the humity was 37%. This morning it is 82%. Calling for 105 heat index today. We really need rain. 4 area counties are in drought. Our normal average temp is in the low 80's. Not used to this heat here.

I was surprised they did not cancel the fireworks. I remember once they did when it was like this. I planted 15 trees last spring and now am having to water them every other day or so. I hope my well holds up.

I'm on a well also. I heard today it's supposed to rain Thursday. I hope so ! It's 100 degrees right now. The record is 101.
