I found a few from $25-36.99, some free shipping, some not. If you see a listing for $15 with less than $10 shipping, please link. I'm thinking of going this route and the cheaper the better. The hp server power supply used can be bought as little as $15.0 on eBay
Put the model number in youtube and you should be able to find a few posts on how to modify it. If not, I can link it here. I had this model on my list of looking into it.These are cheap enough, I have to make sure they are modifiable first.

Thanks, I did, and purchased 4 of them, although I was a bit confused about the added S in the model, as the videos don't include it, instead showing only HSTN, maybe it's a slimmer version? I will figure it out when I get them. I have been on the fence about these for a few years. I have used PC power supplies in the past to power equipment.Put the model number in youtube and you should be able to find a few posts on how to modify it. If not, I can link it here. Nice! ... if you have access to 240v.... These are cheap enough, I have to make sure they are modifiable first.
I have a 240 panel in the radio room, but I didn't realize these were 200/240 only. No problem, I can add an outlet. All the "big boy" toys seem to take advantage of the higher voltage/lower current anyways so I might as well prepare for the future. Will make the supplies harder to sell off to the casual radio hobbiest though.Nice! ... if you have access to 240v.
They came in today, the conversion is simple enough, but I'm waiting on some high tolerance resistors so I can set them exactly and stack them. Will I need 400 amps? Probably not. But at least I will be able to test the big amps that come through and not break a sweat. Plus, if push comes to shove, I could jump start my truck or power the flux capacitor I have been hoarding lol.I had been searching on "DPS-1400CB"
My guess is that you'll be fine. With these prices it might be worthwhile to take a bit of a risk.
