hr 2510 getting good signal,but volume is VERY low . vol switch checks ok. any swags?

Check the Speaker.



Also check C97(47 UF 10V) and C99(470UF 10v). These usually go bad (either Leaky Or Shorted) causing Audio problems.

Replace these with 16 or 25 Volt Caps.



Also it could be a damaged Audio IC (TDA1905) .
