This many years down the road, sticking to items we could schlep on a bicycle was kinda limiting. Did score some speakers and broken audio stuff later when I could drive. Nothing memorable stands out.

Few years ago we started watching dumpster diving vids on YouTube. I was amazed at what these dudes were getting. One day, my wife and I went around back of the strip mall behind Tractor Supply. She got out and was rummaging. She yelled for me and just as I was climbing in, some dude came out yelling to get out. Haven't tried since. Just my luck!
If they had video surveillance of the RatShack dumpster 55 years ago, things would have been different.
