I received my callsign and my radio arrived...

Congratulations on getting your license.. Continue to get your General the upgrade is well worth the time and effort. The General is not that much more difficult as I just passed mine 2 weeks ago.

Thanks. Yeah, I plan on taking the General test at the next available time which is toward the end of January.

    Hello gentlemen and Ladies. I have the dreaded RCI-2990 receive issue where my radio gets distorted when people get close to my location. I found the C90 Capacitor, but I can not for the life of me find the C89 capacitor. Can or does anyone have a picture of the exact location of C89 ? Thank you in advance, Wes
