I have an IC-735 that will not stop transmitting when I unkey the mike, Anyone know where I can start looking to fix this problem?

What about you unplug mic and use XMIT button?
Is it also happening in CW when you press CW key?
Also check PS voltage. Best is to measure on pin 7 ACC socket.
Votage drop is common problem with PLL lockups in those radios.

Only way to stop it is to unplug the mike, bad mike?
I do have a D104 laying around, anyone know how to wire it to the 8 pin Icom?
