My use case may be different than others, but here's the setup:
Base of mine is ~30ft up - looking to increase to 50ft at some point. Coaxial choke at the feedpoint and another (unun) choke at the tuner output. Three tuned 1/4w radials per band - 21.25, 24.940, 27.2 and 28.6MHz are the frequencies for which they're cut. They're sloped 45 degrees off the mount plate.
Naturally resonant in the middle of the Class D allocation but under 2:1 on the other bands. I can run a CB rig straight through with no SWR worries, and an IC-7200/AT-200 Pro II combo is used for ham band stuff. (The other tuner port is connected to a 160-10M inverted vee so why not use the thing...)
There's a rather large 10M group in the NEOH area and almost very one of us runs an Imax for net use. My QRO 10M antennas are a 6BTV, the dipole and a Mosley beam - but I have no problems being heard with the Imax and 100w.
