I listen to and talk to some locals on ch28 am in my area.I hate all the noise toys,echos,r-beeps.They come in,i leave.I would hate to see if the S.Cal staion on 28am John Denver had one,hehe...

They should add a 12 volt probe to those radios with roger beeps that is to inserted up the guys ass that works that radio and every time he unkeys, well you get it.

I agree with mackmobile43, especially the ones who miss use it over and over again just aggravate someone!

I actually like a simple brief plane Jane roger beep on am and SSB in fact I think they should be required by law but only a simple beep.

What possible reason on God's green Earth would you have for thinking that a Roger beep should be required by law?

I can talk on ssb with an AM'er real close. Rojer beeps and all....It's called a notch filter, An IF shift, And if all fails - an RIT. Really pisses the AM boyz off. We can dial 'em out! I don't know what everyone else is running but I'm covered on 25 yr old technology. I can't imagine having a really nice rig. 756 PRO?.......beep..beep....
