my lincoln is on the way back but doc says i need the coax to be in 9 foot increments for the radio to work right!!! any body else know of this????

I just cut mine to whatever length it takes to fit the instalation. Never checked to see if there might be a power difference using different lengths since after the install I always adjust my radios output on AM and SSB to just a hair under what it takes to peak my lil amps(usually around 12-13 watts pep under normal modulation) so even if it made a difference between 30 & 50 watts pep, I'd never know it<img src=http://www.ezboard.com/intl/aenglish/images/emoticons/wink.gif ALT=";)">
