Come on... Complain about the price of good coax and your talking on a 4cx5000. lol... Thats like a dime waiting on a dollar... But really is it mobile or base operation. Mobile I would use rg218 base get some 1/2 hard line..

4CX5000 used at HF freq.s..... Even if ya loose a couple hundred watts...who's gonna be able to notice any difference ? If there is no "conditions", ya ain't talking nowhere except local anyways. If you can't talk local with a 4CX5000 even at 1/10 out put then there is something mighty wrong with your set up and the little bit of loss due to type of coax isn't going to make any difference at all.
