They will not accept it for repair, it's a orphan now.

Yeah it does but its working now and I am not going to put it back in the car. I will pick up a 7000 to replace it.

They were able to repair, it was after it came back that I got the email a couple weeks later. Guess I got the last parts.

this unit was never operated mobile. I raised the PS voltage to about 14.2 volts, and checked after the fuses for any voltage drop,....... this isn't the problem.

the UHF/VF output is normal, sooooooo, it really looks like its in the HF PA.

rig is in the mail to ICOM Michigan,......... time will tell

SARS is really good with turnaround, if they're slow its because they have a backlog of work. Matt Adrian's usually the guy who will call you with what they find, he's great at communicating.
