Just bought an Ares2 on Alibaba, talked to Anytone and they mentioned another new radio. The 6666+ with additional features and 85w output. I will see if he can send me some documentation for it. He said it might be available in June.

Crazy thing is I just heard about this on Facebook this morning so I Googled it and this popped up. Glad to see it is actually going to exist not just a rumor. I'm excited for it to hit the market so I can pick one up. I have the regular q6 and love it.

Whats the max power input on that test set?

Edit: The user manual says exceeding what is on the front panel can cause damage. Front panel says 60W.

I like the look of the new mic that was on it...similar looking to the Motorola MH-67 mic only with channel buttons. Hope this does make it to market!

Really it looks just like the old one. The channel knob might be slightly bigger.

Was thinks about this new radio, maybe, just maybe they'll use the pcb to make a Stryker sr-447hpc2 but with ssb! That would be a nice! I'm just wishing now.
