That's interesting, I just saw a clone of that at Anderson radio. Maybe not exactly but really similar.

That Midland is a sharp looking radio. REALLY happy they got rid of that stupid looking "eyeglasses" front panel that the Jopix and Chierda versions have.

I'm thinking about buying another radio......I'm finding myself frustrated by the wonky encoders on both of my Anytone radios and have reverted to using my 148GTL.
I find it astounding that my Cobra was built in 1994 and the channel selector has been turned about a million times and still works perfectly. My Anytones are only a few years old and the selectors on both are next to useless already. I had to add a couple pushbuttons to my 5555N2 so I could change channels while using my old Turner CS-1 desk mic. Sure would be nice to be able to use the actual channel selector!

Hello gentlemen and Ladies. I have the dreaded RCI-2990 receive issue where my radio gets distorted when people get close to my location. I found the C90 Capacitor, but I can not for the life of me find the C89 capacitor. Can or does anyone have a picture of the exact location of C89 ? Thank you in advance, Wes
