I ask because a coworker ordered a 39vhp and asked for me to convert it to 11 meters for him so I plan to check bias voltages because I've seen them way high or way low from the factory. Hopefully someone has had them on their bench.

In my experience 3.2 to 3.5 volts is where they are after I set the bias current.
Also my 69vhp has been rock solid stable since have had it, winter temperatures will cause some drift on warm up I imagine.

    Hello gentlemen and Ladies. I have the dreaded RCI-2990 receive issue where my radio gets distorted when people get close to my location. I found the C90 Capacitor, but I can not for the life of me find the C89 capacitor. Can or does anyone have a picture of the exact location of C89 ? Thank you in advance, Wes
