Trying to restore a nitro 300..Anyone have a schematic of this amp?If not i mostley need the value of the Plate choke's they use in this amp..Thank you
Have never seen nor heard of a schematic for it. To the best of my knowledge none of the stuff that company sold ever had a schematic diagram released for it. The name of the outfit escapes me for the moment.
The plate chokes should be in the range of 20 to 30 uH. As a rule the exact inductance value is not critical, since it's a filtering component and not a tuning component. The choke's current rating should be at least 1 Amp.
I remember that amplifier for how poor a barrel connector it was when turned off. The internal wiring that your barefoot signal travels across inside that box is not shielded. A radio with a SWR meter will show 3 to 1, even if the SWR meter attached to the antenna says 1 to 1. An amplifier on standby should mimic a barrel connector. Doesn't make the SWR increase by putting it in the coax line. The Nitro would cause the radio to see a SWR much higher than the antenna shows when it was in line.
I'm looking for factory settings 1 through 59 for a AT 5555 n2 or AT500 M2 I only wrote down half the values feel like a idiot I need help will be appreciated
