PC based TX/RX'er


Actually no I havent. I did read the review and it looks really interesting. If I am not mistaken, didnt Ten-Tec have something like this too? And I know you can get a TS-2000 in a computer controlled model as well.

Not a bad idea though, leave all the processing power in the PC and not in the rig!
 
Yeah, until the FlexRadio popped up I had been checking out the Ten-Tech. From what I'm told, they have a tendency to leave a user holding the bag when the co. goes to new "Hardware". After signing up for the FlexR news letter and scanning around only bugs seem to be UHF/VHF modes and eliminating stray RF.

Looks like the path for me anyway, new software=new rig, open resource too.
