Thanks! It's good info to know for the next time I start looking for mics.

@Eldorado828 fixed me up with a procomm power mic that I use on the 955 and I cannot believe how well it pairs with it. The sound quality doesn't compare with the low price!

Those pro com power mikes are a gem. It pushes nicely on the modulation limiter, clean and clear, and the price is right. I have several of them.

In the big truck I use the telex turner rk56 Stryker 447hpc2 combo and with my voice it's what I believe to be the best noise canceling mic. Lots of compliments on the audio.
Note I did say telex turner and not the new Chinese turners of today. No comparison between the two.
You didn't ask me but thought I'd throw something out there.

And this is the Garage/shop/man cave, where I used to spend MOST of my free time. Not so much these days --- especially durrung the Summer. Even tho there IS A/C out there, it's just not enough to compensate on some days. It reached 98 today.

Still not as sexy as a lot of your shacks, but I have to share space with wifes computer so best I can do for the moment. Yes I know my cheap shelf is experiencing subsidence. I really should get a proper shelf and get some of this into the storage closet lol. It's starting to look like a hoarders haven.

I think it's plenty sexy. I personally feel the Turner+3 is a better mic than anything else. Just personal preference, I know --- But D-104's are just difficult to actually use, even tho they sound just as good as the Turner.

What is hooked up currently. One beautiful sweet 16 built by Ranch, Magnum S9 and 2995 restored by Loose Cannon, Stryker 955 repaired after I destroyed it by Loose Cannon, hiding in the background behind the sweet 16 charger built me an eight pill for a beater since the sweet 16 is a kind of go to church on Sunday vehicle. Nebraska 128
