This unit has been converted for 11 meter. Looks to be in very good condition. Looking for an idea of value. Guy is asking $250.00.

I have three of them, paid $150 for the best of the bunch. I love them but wouldn't pay more than 200 for a pristine radio.

Good radios. I bought one new when they came out and have had a few used ones since. Think I sold the last one about 12 years ago.

I wouldn't be interested in another one unless it was new in the box and sealed. Still wouldn't pay much over $175. I would even pass on "reach around".

Easy big fella.

You guys should know by now old radio equipment gains value faster than your 401k.

This is my thought as well, and it's the reason I'm hesitant to put one in the big truck. I'd cry like a little girl if I had one stolen.

Great radios IMHO. I still have a few stashed at my dad's in his gun safe.

I had a lot of fun in the early 90's using an HR2510, Astatic 575M6 (or my Dad's Astatic 1104 C desk mic) through his Maco Shooting Star beam.

Congrats on the 2510!

great radio.i wouldnt pay more than 175.00 either for one. and probaly wouldnt use
it in a big rig too much vibrating around.,they make a great base though

keep watching QRZ.com you can catch a good one un tampered for under $200.00 iv'e bought 3 from there and they all been radios i can just plug and play absolutly no issues. many of the other hamsters on that site sell them when they move up in class and they don't have those cb i tricked you.com mods done to them no golden screw drivers "F-ING" them up. but for one in prestine condition $250.00 is about max i'd pay.

than post them in the classifieds. with two posts both mentioning you wanting to sell radios nobody will buy from you. put them on ebay and hope they slip through.

Yeah they are getting a little long in the tooth but that was a great feature of the 2510 over the 2950 back in the day was they could take the vibration withought falling apart like the 2950 did in mobile situations like in a tractor......long live he 2510!

Incoming Region Produces X3 Solar Flare
    May 15, 2024 @ 14:55 UTC
Another major solar flare, but this time from an active region just beginning to turn into view off the east limb. It is possible that the group responsible is old AR 3654 from the previous rotation. The latest flare, an X2.99 event just peaked at 14:38 UTC (May 15). Stay tuned

Please advise me to what is a good replacement mic for my SR-497HPC... Answer: 497 is "wired like Cobra", so many choices available. That radio does not need a power mic, so purchase a stock "coffin style" mic with a decent cord, like the ones that Astatic uses. The Superstar DM-507 is my go-to. https://www.ebay.com/itm/3050474478...adANq91JSiEEnz8EGqPJRBloTgEyaVsBoCtoMQAvD_BwE $12.99 + .99 cent shipping.
